Translating apps, programmes and web pages
Helping the user find their way around.
Adapting helps you stay ahead of the game. Localising a text is itself a clever way of adapting. By recognising your target market’s cultural differences and preferences, you can demonstrate that you understand the customer. This builds trust between you and your customers, which leads to commercial success.
Our translation agency‘s native-speaking technical translators, experienced programmers, and efficient project managers can implement your software localisation in no time at all. We provide you with customised support and convincing results.

Special features of software localisation
Not too short. Not too long. Just right.
When it comes to software localisation, translation and technology are closely connected. The user has to input content into individual sections, as well as across multiple dialogue boxes and pages. Translators need to ensure that this content always remains appropriate and meaningful. Dialogue boxes and icons in software applications also tend to be less flexible than on websites. Translations need to be accurate, but also of an appropriate length. Easier said than done, as word and sentence lengths vary greatly from language to language. Sometimes decimal points, currencies and even writing direction have to be changed. There’s always lots to do.
A team designed for your project
Experienced in languages, technically proven, professional.
An algorithm solves a problem through many carefully designed individual steps. This is also how we approach software localisation. From our pool of more than 2,000 native-speaking technical translators, we always find you the one with the best technical expertise who is familiar with your target market. If required, a programmer can be added to the team to implement and check the software translation. And last but not least, one of our project managers will coordinate and optimise the ISO 17100 certified process. All part of our professional, efficient and personal process.
Software localisation with the latest software
Accurate, consistent, fast.
The team we assemble for you will coordinate all the important aspects of software localisation. But we also optimise the translation process, by using the latest localisation software, for example. This can hide coding and graphic elements of the software, allowing the translator to focus purely on the content. Even software processes and the context of specific passages are displayed. And using translation memories guarantees consistent terminology across various projects, and they also speed up future translations. In time, this means that translation memories offer us faster translations of the highest quality. What more could you ask for?!
Standard formats and resource data save time and money
Seamless integration.
We work with most standard formats. From EXE, HTML and XML, to IDML and Xliff. But the file format affects neither the workload nor the costs associated with the translation. For our customers, the safest and cheapest solution is to choose a file format that our localisation software can read and export. Please see above for a list of all formats that our software can support.
If possible, please submit a resource file. This means that any coding and graphical elements remain unaffected. This makes it easier for the translator to focus purely on content, and the project manager does not have to unzip the file and then reintegrate it later. This speeds up the overall translation process, and makes it cheaper for you, the customer.
