4. Analytical tools and advertising

Google Analytics, Hotjar and LinkedIn Insight

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The analysis provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland. Google Analytics uses “cookies”. These are text files, stored on your computer, which are used to analyse your use of websites. The information generated by cookies on your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Section 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both their website and their advertising.

Hotjar is a tool that can be used to create heatmaps, which give us information on how visitors navigate and use our website. For example, they show us which elements of the website attract the user’s attention and which ones, for example, encourage the user to make an inquiry or call us. This enables us to optimise the website and make it more user-friendly. In order for this to work, cookies are stored in the user’s browser. If cookies are deactivated in the respective browser, the plugin does not load at all and no cookies can be stored. Users visiting the website can also refuse the use of all cookies on their first visit to the site or opt out later. However, Hotjar does not transmit any personal data to us. You can find more detailed information regarding Hotjar and cookies here.

LinkedIn Insight notifies us when a visitor comes to the website through one of our advertising campaigns and makes requests. A tracking cookie is also placed in the visitor’s browser for this purpose. In addition, certain metadata is transmitted, such as the IP address and a timestamp. As with Google Analytics and Hotjar, you can refuse or later opt out of the use of these cookies. More information about LinkedIn Insight tracking can be found here.

IP anonymisation

We have activated IP anonymization on this website. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional circumstances will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

Browser plugin

You may block the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent data (including your IP address) relating to your use of the website being passed on to Google and you can prevent Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Opting out of data collection

You can stop Google Analytics collecting your data by clicking on the link below. An opt-out cookie will be installed to prevent the collection of your data when you visit this website in the future. Disable Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics processes user data, please read the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Commissioned data processing

We have a contractual agreement with Google for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

With Google Ads, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on a Google ad, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, both we at Dialogticket and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Google Ads customer receives different cookies. The cookies cannot be tracked on the websites of Google AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for ad customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and been redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this use by simply disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie on your web browser under User Preferences. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Section 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both their website and their advertising.

More information on Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking can be found under Google data protection regulations: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to only allow cookies in specific cases, to prevent cookies being accepted in specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functions of this website may be restricted.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human being or by an automated programme. To do so, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website user based on various factors. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website user visits the website. ReCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user) for analysis. The data collected during the analysis is then passed on to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses operate as background tasks. Website visitors are not notified that this analysis is taking place.

Data processing is carried out in accordance with Section 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting his website from illegal automated spying and from SPAM.

For further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy, please use the following links: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html and https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

The processing of the information entered in the newsletter registration form is carried out exclusively with your consent (Section 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can opt out of your data and your email address being processed at any time by unsubscribing from our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, the legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected.

We will store the data you provide to subscribe to our newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Once you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your data will be erased. Data stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) will not be affected.

Google Web Fonts

This page uses web fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you load a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.

To do this, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This tells Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. This represents a legitimate interest according to Section 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Google Maps

This site uses Google Maps via an API. Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

To use Google Maps you must save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this site has no control over this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our website and it makes it easy to find the places indicated on our website. This represents a legitimate interest according to Section 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
