Data collection on our website

Cookies

Some of our webpages use cookies. Cookies do not cause any harm to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help make our service more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after you have visited our website. Other cookies remain in your device’s memory until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser when you next visit our website.

You can set your browser so that you are informed whenever a cookie is set and you can choose on a case-by-case basis whether to allow this. You can also set up our browser to prohibit the setting of cookies in general and/or to delete cookies automatically when you close the browser. Disabling cookies may limit your ability to use some of the functions of this website.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Section 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the correct technical and optimised delivery of its services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in “server log files”, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Your web browser and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Computer host name
  • Time of server request
  • IP address

This data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which authorises data processing for contractual or pre-contractual purposes.

Contact form

If you use our contact form to send us an inquiry, we will store the details you enter on the form, including your contact details, in order to address your inquiry and to ask any follow-up questions that may arise. We do not share this data without your permission.

We will therefore only process any data you enter onto the contact form with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time. If you wish to do so, just send us a short email to let us know. The processing of this data entered in the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Section 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us a short email. The legality of the data processing performed prior to the revocation remains unaffected.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until such time as you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer applies (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions – especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods  – remain unaffected by this provision.

Data processing (client and contract data)

We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary to justify, establish, or modify legal relationships with us (master data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We only collect, process and use personal data on the use of our website (usage data) to enable the user to use the service or to invoice the user.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transmission when entering into a contract for services and digital content

We transmit personally identifiable data to third parties only to the extent required to fulfil the terms of your contract with us, for example, to banks entrusted to process your payments.

Your data will not be transmitted for any other purpose, or only if you have given your express permission to do so. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes without your express consent.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para 1 lit. b GDPR, which authorises data processing for contractual or pre-contractual purposes.

Analytical tools and advertising

Google Analytics and LinkedIn Insight

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service. This is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses “cookies”. These are text files, stored on your computer, which are used to analyse your use of websites. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.

We have activated Google Signals in Google Analytics. These allow Google to display ads that are relevant to you relative to your search query. For this purpose, Google uses the session data of websites and apps that you have visited or used in the past. This only happens if you have a Google account, are logged in during your search, and you have agreed to personalized advertising in the past. You can revoke your consent at any time by deactivating “personalized ads” in your Google account.

LinkedIn Insight notifies us when a visitor comes to the website through one of our advertising campaigns and makes requests. A tracking cookie is also placed in the visitor’s browser for this purpose. In addition, certain metadata is transmitted, such as the IP address and a timestamp. As with Google Analytics and Hotjar, you can refuse or later opt out of the use of these cookies. More information about LinkedIn Insight tracking can be found here.

IP anonymisation

We have activated IP anonymisation on this website. Your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or and the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional circumstances will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, compile reports regarding website activity, and provide other services to the website operator related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address provided by your browser in the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.

Browser plugin

You can prevent the use of cookies by selecting the corresponding settings on your browser; however, we would like to point out that if you do this, you may not be able to fully utilise all functions provided on this website. You can also prevent the data generated by cookies about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being passed to Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Opting out of data collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking “Reject” in the cookie consent bar that appears when you first visit the website. If you have accepted cookies in the past but wish to opt out now, delete all cookies in your browser, revisit our website and then opt out. An opt-out cookie will then be installed to prevent the collection of your data when zou visit our website in the future.

For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please read the Google Privacy Policy.

Data processing order

We have entered into a contract with Google to outsource our data processing and have fully implemented the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

With Google Ads, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on a Google ad, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, both we at Dialogticket and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

All Google Ads customers receives different cookies. The cookies cannot be tracked on the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted into conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this use by simply disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie on your web browser under User Preferences. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

“Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.

More information on Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in the Google Privacy Policy.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated programme. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website user based on various factors. This analysis begins automatically as soon as visitors enter the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor remains on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses operate as background tasks. Website visitors are not notified that this analysis is taking place.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting his web offers from abusive automated spying and spam. reCAPTCHA loads some Google Fonts from external servers. Unfortunately, this cannot be turned off without completely disabling SPAM protection. However, all other fonts on this page are hosted locally.

For further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy, please either read the Google Privacy Policy or Google’s explanation of the reCAPTCHA technology.

Newsletter

Newsletter subscription data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information which allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data entered in the newsletter registration form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, the legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until such time as you cancel your subscription, when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the members area) remains unaffected by this.

Plugins and tools

Google Maps

This site uses Google Maps via an API. This is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use Google Maps you must save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this site has no control over this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our website and it makes it easy to find the places indicated on our website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR.

More information on the processing of user data can be found in the Google Privacy Policy.
